Cynthia and Jeff {Wedding Photographer Victoria BC}
I met Cynthia and Jeff last summer when Jeff was a groomsman at Shannon and Geoffs wedding. I did their engagement session last fall and then eagerly waited all year for their wedding at the end of August! The day was so stunning, it called for rain all week and then Saturday morning came and it was stunning with beautiful blue skies! The light was absolutely amazing though and all of the photos from the day have this gorgeous soft glow to them that I just love. I wish everyday there was light like that, the backlighting was amazing and I seriously could have shot all afternoon if Cynthia and Jeff would have let me! I kept them so long that they were so hungry they had to stop at McDonalds on the way to the reception!
I am going to admit that I have been a very very bad blogger this summer and while I have so many awesome things I want to post including my new puppy, my new condo, a trip to the Galapagos and Ecuador in June as well as other weddings, family sessions and a few smash the cake sessions. The images from this day are so stunning I just cannot keep them to myself!

Little Luka turned one and so we had to have a cake smash session! Melissa had already given out her Birthday Party invites so we decided to do up Thank You Cards instead. I am so happy with the way that they turned out and I think Melissa loved them as well.

Melissa and Rob {Victoria Family Photographer}
You all might remember Melissa and Rob from last Christmas where we did some Christmas photos for them. Well their little guy Luka just turned one and little Keegan is 3.5 so we thought we would do some updated family photos. The light was so amazing tonight I got so many amazing photos, I just can’t wait for Melissa and Rob to see them. Last weekend I did some smash the cake photos for them that I will post soon as well but I wanted to get these up as I know Melissa just can’t wait!
Melissa and Rob, thank you again for being so amazing, also for not making fun of my outfit, I really should look in the mirror when I leave the house! You guys are so wonderful and I am so happy that I get to photograph your family.

Mike and Travis {Professional Wedding Photographer Victoria}
I photographed Mike and Travis’ Wedding last night and I had a total blast. They are the nicest people you will ever meet and have a great sense of humour so everyone is always laughing. They had a really small ceremony at the Laurel Point Hotel and then followed by a small reception surrounded by their closest friends and family.
They have an awesome Labradoodle that I just love and had a blast photographing as well, I am just working on going through all my images now but I wanted to share my absolute favorite image from the evening.

Mark came home for the Easter weekend and we spent it relaxing and spending time with friends and eating! Our very good friends Paul and Lisa got a new puppy on Friday so I spent far too much time snuggling this little fellow and getting in tummy rubs, much to my cats dismay as they were not happy with how I smelled when I came home. He is a Great Dane puppy and certainly will not be this small for much longer but thats OK, Danes seem to think they are lap dogs anyway!

Mexico { Victoria Photographer}
I took a little vacation a couple weeks back to Mexico for a week of relaxing in the sun with a couple friends. I had a total blast and and caught up on some much needed R&R! Seriously though, who wouldn’t relax in a place like this?

I had the pleasure of going out with Fiona and Alyssa to get some sister shots. Alyssa lives in Australia with her Fiance and was home to visit so we went out and spent the afternoon hanging out. I had a great time and these ladies we so much fun, they loved jump shots which just makes me so happy as I looooove jump shots!

I had the pleasure of spending Sunday afternoon with Dan, Carla and their beautiful baby girl Katelyn. I had so much and despite the cold, wet Victoria day they were total troopers. They also brought their beautiful Dog Kona along with them for some family photos, I love it when people bring along pets as they are such and important part of the family!
I tried really hard to take Kona and Katelyn home with me at the end of the shoot but Dan and Carla caught me and just wouldn’t let me take them. Katelyn is such a cute little happy baby and was also a total trooper despite the nasty weather and getting rained on! She is one tough little cookie!
Melissa & Rob {Family Photographer Victoria BC}
I met up with Melissa and Rob to do some family photos and let me tell you, they have some of the cutest kids you could ever ask for. Little Keegan is 2.5 years old and he is tough! Let me tell you, this kid is made of steel, his favorite thing is to be thrown and flipped over Dads head all the while giggling away. He takes off running and leaps off high rocks and off the highest steps he can find, he is a total blast and certainly kept us all on our toes! Little Luka is this wonderful calm little guy and at only 5 months he just loves to watch whats going on in the world around him. This family was so much fun and I cannot wait to watch them grow and keep photographing them.
